Amitabh Bachchan hosted quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati telecasted special Karamveer episode, Social activist sunitha krishnan was the contestant this time, she is an activist who saved about 20,000 children and women from human trafficking. In fact actress anushka sharma lauded the efforts of Ms. Krishnan after watching the show on the television.
Sunitha Krishnan revealed that, she herself is a rape survivor victim, she was raped by group of eight men when she was just 15 years old, after hearing this everyone in the audience was horrified, even Mr. Bachchan was shocked, later Anushka lauded her for coming out of trauma and serving the society. She also lauded the show for bringing such people on the hot seat, who reveals the reality of the society that we are living in.
Sunitha Krishnan later appreciated the gesture of the actress, she is co-founder of the NGO Prajwala. KBC genuine effort of bringing unsung heroes of the society to the show is being hailed by many people.
