Lakshmi Manchu is daughter of actor Mohan Babu and his first wife late Vidya Devi. She married twice, her first husband name is Narayana, and both of them got divorced in a short span of time after marriage. Her present husband’s name is Andy Srinivasan who stays in USA.
She did her bachelor’s in theater at Oklahoma City Univirisity in USA and during that period she has acted in famous American Television series ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘Las Vegas’ which build her fan base there.
Lakshmi has made her mark in Tollywood not only as a noted producer but also as potential performer on screen. She made her debut in 2011 with ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’ and her negative role as Irendri has received critical acclaim, even though the film got boomed at box office.
Presently she is working and producing ‘Gundello Godari’ movie, which stars Adhi, Sundeep Kishhan & Taapsee and music department is headed by llayaraja. She is working hard for this film bcoz she is portraying a village girl character and after giving a memorable performance in her last film ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ she wanted to maintain new standards in her acting.
