Jayanth C.Paranji is an expert in handling remakes. In the past he successfully directed several remakes like Lakshmi Narasimha, Shankar Dada MBBS, Teenmaar etc. In face the director has more hits with remakes than with direct films.
Now that Pawan Kalyan feels that Jayanth is the best person to handle his Oh My God Remake and is recommending his name to the makers. Earlier Venkatesh selected Thadaka fame Dolly to direct the movie.
However, Pawan Kalyan saw Thadaka, remake of Vettai and is not satisfied with the output. He felt that Thadaka can be made a lot better and the director who failed in handling a regular subject like Vettai can not handle a sensitive subject like Oh My God.
However, the director name is not yet finalized. Once it is finalized, the project will be announced. The remake is the first combination of Victory Venkatesh and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan who are good friends off screen.
