The unconventional movie now running to packed houses across a number of screens worldwide released on May 23 continues to draw people to theatres even in week number 3 buoyed by the viewers, critics, stars and cinema enthusiasts rave reviews about its simplicity, comedy and emotion filled moments. For the first time ever in the history of South Indian Cinema three generations of the Akkineni’s, ANR, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil faced the camera together. The story crafted and directed by Vikram Kumar is touted as a path-breaking film by many, is a tribute to the late legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao whose many scenes from the film brought back the ANR nostalgia. Those who watched praised the film makers for their out-of-box thought. It was a powerful experience for the audiences as the film moved them emotionally. Many of the industry experts say this is a historic cinema effort and paves way for fresh experiments. Shriya Saran and Samantha play the leading ladies in Manam.
