Venkatadri Express director Merlapaka Gandhi will be directing Sushanth's next. Gandhi has made his debut with Venkatadri Express starring Sandeep Kishan last year and it ended up as the biggest hit in 2013 in terms of Return of Investment (ROI). The script for this project is already locked and the project will start rolling in July.
Sri Nag Corporation which produces Sushanth's movies will be once again funding this project. Sushanth's mother Naga Suseela and Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao are the producers. Annapurna Studios will be presenting the movie. More details of this project will be revealed very soon.
Sushanth had been struggling in his career for a long time with out a proper hit. His recent film, Adda did decent business but could not get Sushanth the hit hero tag. Sushanth hopes that Merlapaka Gandhi who grabbed a super hit with his first film will be delivering the required punch for this career.
Earlier this year a project of Sushanth was announced in the direction of G.Nageswar Reddy and produced by BVSN Prasad. The makers have announced that the project will begin in March but there is no progress regarding it till now.
