SS Rajamouli's magnum opus film, Baahubali is the costliest Telugu film ever made. There are rumours that both the parts of the film is going to cost 175 Crores for the makers. It is said that Ramoji Rao's Ramoji Film City (RFC) is one of the prime financiers of the film. According to the sources, RFC financed for this mega project. Buzz is Part 1 is financed for Rs 45crs and Part 2 for Rs.25 crs at the rate of 2% interest.
On the other side, the makers are resorting to PR tricks to market the films. They have let out news that the Nizam, Karnataka and Ceeded rights of the movie are bought for all time record prices. The distributors and buyers will need Industry Hit talk and competition free run at the box office at least to break even. The movie is currently being shot in Ramoji Film City.
Baahubali has Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, Tamannah and Ramya Krishna in the lead roles. The music for this film is scored by M M Keeravani. Sabu Cyril has created the sets while Senthil is handling the camera. The movie, which is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. under Arka Media banner and will be presented by K Raghavendra Rao. The first part will see the light in April 2015.
