Singapore has been throbbing with action for the past few days. But now that the IIFA awards have come to an end, let’s take a look at some of the celebrities who impressed us with their amazing fashion sense and also the ones who failed to do so.
To begin with, Priyanka Chopra, dressed in a white gown looked absolutely stunning. Though people were drooling over the gown, one couldn’t help but notice that it had a striking resemblance to the gown Sonam Kapoor wore at the ‘Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Awards’ event. It was a white Dolce and Gabbana number with flower appliques and tulle texture.
Another actress who stole the show on the carpet was Nargis Fakhri, chose a very interesting combination by wearing a metallic blouse teamed with a bright blue sari. It made her look just like a princess in shining armour.
The others included, Adithi Rao Hyadri, Neha Dhupia, Sameeera Reddy, the chick Parineeti Chopra and Gauhar Khan. Among the men it was Ranbir Kapoor who stole the show in a simple desi avatar.
People who failed to impress, to name a few, were Prateik Babbar, the bong babe Bipasha Basu, R Madhavan, Vidya Balan, Sameera Reddy, Zoya Akhtar and Sridevi, who wore a Manish Malhotra ensemble with the strapless blouse, which is quite passé.
