When it is known that Victory Venkatesh and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan are teaming up for a Multistarer film - Gopala Gopala which is a remake of Bollywood Blockbuster, Oh My God. Every one where doubting about viability of such an unconventional script in Telugu. Also Pawan Kalyan will have a very little screen space in the movie. But now all the doubts are shattered by the superb prerelease business offers the movie is getting. The film was picked for a whopping 14 Crore on Non Refundable Advance by Rao & San (Prasanth) films. Uttarandhra rights of the movie were picked by Kranthi Reddy for 4.5 Crores while the Ceeded rights have brought 7 Crore for the makers. Seasonal distributor Narasimha bagged the movie rights in Ceeded. Similar offers being made from other territories as well and they will be closed in a week or so. Gopala Gopala is shooting at a brisk pace and the makers are planning to release for Sankranthi next year. Pawan Kalyan will finish his part of shooting in a week or two. It is known that Gopala Gopala is the Telugu remake of Bollywood Blockbuster, Oh My God. Mithun Chakraborty will be making Telugu debut with the crucial God man character. Thadaka fame Dolly is wielding megaphone for this project. Pawan Kalyan's friend, Sharath Marar on his North Star Entertainments and Suresh Babu on his Suresh Productions Banner are jointly producing the movie. Anup Rubens will be composing the music.
