Manchu Manoj's recent film, Current Teega has ended up as one more failure for the Manchu Family at the box office. Off late they have been producing their movies and incurring big losses. Current Teega just managed to collect 7 Crore Share Worldwide and also got severe losses to distributors and exhibitors across the Telugu States.
However the loss was compensated to the producers, Manchu family to some extent from the Satellite rights of the movie. Gemini TV has bagged the satellite rights for a whopping 4 Crore and we are said that they have invested such big amount only to cash Sunny Leone's popularity who appeared in a little cameo in the movie. She played the role of teacher in the movie and it is her first ever Telugu film appearance.
If not for Sunny Leone, the movie may have been sold for not more than 2 Crores. On the other side, Current Teega has incurred a loss of 40% to 70% in almost all the areas in the Telugu States. This result will need an immediate retrospection from Manoj towards his career. The actor failed to cash the goodwill he holds in the audience and is churning out flops one after the other.
