Akhil Akkineni is the latest youth sensation in Telugu film industry. Even before his first film, he is being mobbed by girls where ever he go. In one of the recent interviews, Akhil spoke about this attention from girls all of sudden. "Girs mobbed me few times and it is obviously good. Coming from industry background, wherever you go you get recognized."
When asked about his girl friend, he adds, "I will not talk of that right now. Not before I'm getting engaged or something." The actor even spoke of his looks, "I look more like my mother Amala. Her mom is Irish and I have Irish blood in me. But my facial features are very much like my father. Like my father I am passionate about fitness and workout for times a week. I am happy to get the best of both my parents."
Today is the first day shoot of Akhil Akkineni for his debut film directed by Vinayak. After a formal Muhurtham last month, Akkineni family introduced Akhil to fans on Saturday in a function at Shilpa Kala Vedhika. The proceedings of the shoot will begin with a fight in Old City of Hyderabad.
VV Vinayak who recently successfully introduced Bellamkonda Srinivas with Alludu Seenu will be directing this film. Nithin and his father Sudhakar Reddy will be producing the film under their Sresht Movies Banner.The film will have story penned by 'Damarukham' fame Veligonda Srinivas. Most of the film will be canned in USA and South Africa.
