This news is surely a shock to the Nandamuri fans and hero. It is apparent that this year's first hit was Pataas from the Nandamuri family. After the movie completed its collections, the movie has fallen into a controversy.
A law student named Y Sridhar at Dilshuknagar lodged a complaint against the actor-cum-producer Nandamuri Kalyan Ram alleging that in the movie Pataas they denigrated the national emblem Ashoka Chakra on the title.
It seems that the Ashoka Chakra was made on the letters TA in the title "Pataas" and blamed of violating the laws and the National pride. It seems a legal notice is sent to the hero Kalyan Ram even before the release but Kalyan did not respond to it.
It seems the student pressured the police to take action about the complaint and do justice as soon as possible. However, the movie released comfortably and was recorded to be the first commercial hit of the year.
