Akkineni family third generation heir King Nagarjuna's son Akhil's debut film was launched in Jan 2015 and the shooting is progressing in brisk pace. Currently the shooting is progressing in Hyderabad and the film unit will fly to Spain on April 21^st to shot some crucial scenes of the film and this schedule will complete by May first week. Later on one song will be shot in Hyderabad after that film unit will have 35 days schedule in Uganda.

Akhil’s birthday gift

Recent release of its teaser as Akhil’s birthday gift has created sensation in social networking media and it acquired good response from viewers. Latest news the makers are planning to announce its title soon. If the grapevine is to be believed, earlier makers considered many catchy titles for this film but finally they zeroed it as “Missile”. The Akkineni family was always interested in making Akhil’s launch to be with a Commercial and Mass Entertainer, so they thought this title would be apt for it. Sources say that Nagarjuna, Amala, Director VV Vinayak, Producers Sudhakar Redy, Nithin and some of Akkineni family members voted to confirm Akhil’s debut film title as ““Missile”.

V V Vinayak 

Sources added that V V Vinayak and Nagarjuna feels that “Missile” will be the apt title for the film where the title resembles the hero’s attitude in the film. Filmmakers are planning to announce the title soon in grand & unique way. This prestigious project is being directed by V.V.Vinayak who is very well known for his excellence in providing commercial flicks.

Hero Nithin

Hero Nithin along with his father Sudhakar Reddy & Sister Nikitha Reddy are Producing this film. Sayesha Saigal is making on screen romance with Akhil. Damarukam fame Veligonda Srinivas has provided the script of the movie. Music is scored by Thaman and Anup Rubens. Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Mahesh Manjrekar, Vennela Kishore, Saptagiri are playing important roles.
