Raghava Lawrence most prestigious much hyped bilingual film “Kanchana 2” which is a sequel of his earlier horror film “Kanchana” is going to release in Telugu as “Ganga” on April 17th. The filmmakers announced earlier that this film will release in 1000 screens all across the globe which includes the Tamil and the Telugu version of the film on April 17th. Taapsee Pannu is playing the female lead in this film.
Latest news is that the film may not release on April 17th due to some financial problems. According to sources some of the financers and distributors bought injunction order from court against Bellamkonda Suresh to stop the movie release. Sources added that Bellamkonda Suresh who promised to clear all amounts to distributors and financers before film release has failed to clear it. So, the distribution companies & financers appealed to court and acquired injunction order against film release.
The advertisements presenting in TV channels & posters showcasing as the ‘Film Releasing Soon’ are clearly showing that till last minute the movie release will be doubt. But the producer Bellamkonda Suresh doesn’t made any statement until now on its release postponement. Sources say that Bellamkonda Suresh was in Chennai and he is busy with censor clearance works of the film. So, Let us cross the fingers till tomorrow to know will “Ganga” scare in theatres on April 17th or not!!!!
