The last few months have not been that smooth for the Tollywood industry and this is mainly due to the controversies and troubles the films have been facing. ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu’ ‘Dhenikaina Ready’ and before that the ‘Dookudu’ incident wherein the sets were burnt are just a few examples.
It is better the Tollywood producers follow the Producers Guild in Mumbai. Recently the Producers Guild approached the Information & Broadcasting ministry to express their anguish over how political interferences and other litigations are causing a major problem to the industry and its business.
Even Tollywood is coming into the same category because every other film is facing some issue or the other because somebody or the other starts creating trouble. It is only the government and the concerned authorities who must put an iron foot on protests which are uncalled for. Tollywood producers should take few inputs from Producers Guild on this.
