Few days ago we have let out a story that Superstar Mahesh Babu is charging a whopping 1.5 Crore to attend TANA Convention in the United States. Later it was followed up by a story that the actor will use the money for a donation to 'Heal a Child' Foundation which he is endorsing. The news caught so much of media attention. But many focused the actor as a money greedy person charging 1.5 Crore for just an appearance ignoring the noble intent behind it.
It is said that Mahesh Babu is very much disturbed with the character assassination by some media and totally decided to opt out of the event to avoid further discussions. He was also angry with TANA organizers for leaking this news of remuneration to media and intimated to them that he is not coming. However TANA organizers have taken Mahesh Babu's attendance as prestige issue and are trying their level best to persuade the actor.

Mahesh Babu garners mindblowing following in Overseas and so TANA organizers are keen in bringing him there. On the other side, Mahesh Babu is the good will ambassador of Heal-a-child foundation. He took up the noble mission to help the children from the poor families who suffer from premature births. It is known that Gautam was also born premature. Mahesh Babu is doing his part to the foundation so that no child suffers due to poor financial background of his/her parent.
