Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce had taken a staunch decision to keep a check on film titles related Malpractices. The title registration few in Chamber is just 500 Rupees. In the recent years, a new business cropped up. Few miscreants started fancy titles one after the other and later they keep up for sale.

They also register the titles which were under consideration for star films before the producers register it. The titles get popular with audience forcing the producers to negotiate with the miscreant to transfer the title. These guys are demanding huge amounts for the transfer of the titles thus making a hefty sum.
Film Chamber came out with a new rule
Film Chamber came out with a new rule to stop this menace. Any one registering a title should deposit 10000 Rupees with the Chamber. The remaining 9500 will be refunded only after the movie is announced and it goes on sets. This rule came in to effect last month and was very successful in cutting down the title malpractices. Earlier there used to be 200 titles registered in the Chamber but last month there are only 15 registrations.
