Noted film director Mani Ratnam was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo, Delhi hospital late Tuesday night after complaining of chest pain. While doctors confirmed that he was under medical care, they refused to say whether he had been brought in following an accident or cardiac complaints. 

Mani Ratnam suffered the minor cardiac arrest


Ratnam was reportedly holidaying with his family in Srinagar when he suffered the minor cardiac arrest. He was playing golf when it happened and was then rushed to a hospital in Srinagar, after which he was sent to Delhi. The family doesn’t want information about his medical condition to be made public so they refused to share any details. Ratnam also survived a heart attack in 2004 when he was filming for the bi-lingual movie ‘Yuva’ .
