Both the Telugu States after the bifurcation are still battling various problems. On the other side, there is a strong agitation by Telangana faction to divide the assets of Film chamber to have their say on the industry. Industry biggies had changed the name of AP Film Chamber of Commerce to Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce to prevent the split.
Telangana faction is pressurizing the KCR government to interfere in to the issue and get the industry division done. However the state government is not interested to mess with the film industry which may push the industry out of Telangana. Instead, Telangana government is showering more sops to the industry.
Enraged with the government's attitude, Telangana Producers themselves have got in to the scene. Director — Producer Sana Yaadi Reddy had decided to field a Telangana panel in the elections to the film chamber that will take place on 19th of this month. They are trying to win the election asking the members to vote with the slogan 'Our state, Our Panel' promising that they will fight for small and Telangana producers.
