This is a very unusual thing to hear but then most of the times there are many successful personalities in the film industry who reveal that films were never in their mind and they happened just by chance. But if someone like Mani Ratnam also says that then it is something which creates a lot of interest.
But recently, Mani Ratnam was reportedly sharing his thoughts when he mentioned that he was actually having a comfortable job as a management consultant because he passed out with an MBA from an A-league Business school. He added that it was merely an accident that he got into films and writing about three decades back.
Those who heard this are saying it are saying it is indeed a happy accident otherwise the Indian cinema would have missed a great filmmaker. Regarding work, Mani is now busy with the shaping up of his new Tamil film ‘Kadal’ starring debutants Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair in the lead.
