The Star Comedian Ali made his statements clear about the bubbly heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Spontaneous anchor Suma Kanakala. It was very before that during a function Ali said that Samantha's waist is like Benz Circle and called the heroines as— philanther phagdis. These comedy statements irked people.
Ali giving clarity about it said " Suma is like my sister. We've a very cordial relationship off the screen. But while hosting a show on the stage, audiences and organisers are expecting something from us and we're delivering it." He said the media is always responsible in making controversies which are not required.
Also revealing the backstage incident between him and Suma, Ali said "They imagine and write whatever they like. That day Suma requested me backstage to handle the whole event because she wants to leave as her son's birthday party has to be attended. As I don't host shows for free, she made a request to me."
He also clarified over Sam Benz Circle's controversy and said "She herself stated that I'm her good friend. What else you want to hear."
