He even received Film Fare Award in 2004 for the movie '7G Rainbow Colony'.

He won the Cyprus International Film Festival Award in 2006 for the movie 'Raam' and he is the only composer to do it. In an interview, he frankly accepted that his brother Karthik Raja is talented than him, but he never got the much needed break through to work with big directors.

Though his professional life was a successful one, his personal life was a failure. He got divorced two times and now he has married for the third time. He even converted to Islam recently. Today the composer turns 35, and we wish him a very Happy Birthday.
