• Vijay and Sangeetha gave a surprise party to Shanthanu and his wife Keerthy. It has to be noted that Vijay was the one who gave mangalsutra to Shanthnu.
• Actor Vimal has transformed to be a singer and he has rendered his voice for Ma Ka Pa Anand's movie 'Navarasa Thilagam'. This song will be choreographer by Dance master Dinesh.
• Apart from the main 5 releases, Another horror movie titled 'Kopperundevi' also releases on
September 17th. This movie is likely to get the least number of screens. However the movie features stellar cast of actors like ovai Sarala, Manobala, Urvashi, Delhi Ganesh and Ilavarasu.
• 'Kazhugu' movie fame director Sathya Siva who recently directed 'Savaale Samaali' is blessed with a baby girl and the director is happy.
• 'Thala 56' shooting is close to completion. We hear from credible sources that, the talkie portions in the movie will be wrapped up by first week of September.
