Vinayagar Chaturthi will witness five releases in Kollywood. But apart from that, all expect 'Kabali' to go on floors and the first look will also be revealed on the same day. The preliminary Photo shoot session took place last week and the stills were leaked online.
Now, regarding the shooting there seems to be a change of plan. While it was earlier said that the shoot will kick-off in Malaysia, now it is confirmed that the first schedule of the shooting will begin in Chennai.

We hear from reliable sources that the team will head on to Malaysia only for the second schedule. Rajini is all pumped up about starting the movie without any delay. The reason behind the schedule change is unknown.
Anyways the script demands few portions to be canned in Chennai. So the portions change will not make much of an impact. Source says the shooting will start inside a renowned studio.
