Vidya Balan hails from Tamil Nadu. But she never acted in any Tamil or Telugu movie in recet times. She right now acts in the movie 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani. In a recent TV interview she frankly opened about her Tollywood interest. She said,
"My Uncle use to live in Hyderabad and I use to visit Golconda Fort during my childhood days. I love the culture and people here. I was offered lots of chances in Telugu movies.
Movies like 'Maghadheera' and 'Baahubali' create me more interest
But due to date and time constraints I cannot take up any movie due to prior commitments. I always prefer to work in Telugu and Malayalam movies. Movies like 'Maghadheera' and 'Baahubali' create me more interest and love towards Tollywood.
I am eagerly anticipating release of 'Baahubali 2'. I will surely act in a telugu movie soon. Awaiting a full fledged script."
