'Thaara Thappatai' is directed by Bala and the movie features Sasikumar and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in lead roles. As we reported earlier the movie will be based on the traditional 'Karagaatam' dance. Ilayaraja has composed music and this is also the 1000th movie.
Chezhiyan who is a regular cinematographer for Bala has wielded the camera. Jayamohan who wrote the dialogues for 'Naan Kadavul' has penned the dialogues. Studio 9 company R.K.Suresh plays the role of antagonist. The team which was shooting the last schedule has completed the shooting.
Earlier Varalakshmi broke her collar bone
We heard from sources that the movie was completely wrapped up after taking a brutal fight sequence at Tanjore. Earlier Varalakshmi broke her collar bone and Sasikumar fractured himself while shooting the fight sequence.
The source also confirmed us that the shooting took place for a span of 130 days and this is the first time a Bala's movie has taken so long. Bala is planning to take all measures to produce a good movie and now he has planned to take two more months for adding background score.
