Naveen Chandra and 'Yaarmiruka Bayame' fame Rupa Manjari have done the lead roles in the movie 'Sivappu'. .N.R.Raghunanthan has composed music. Thambi Ramiah and Rajkiran are also part of the cast. The movie is directed by Sathya Siva who has earlier directed 'Kazhugu' and 'Savaale Samaali'.
Cinematography is handled by Madhu Ambat and Kasi Viswanathan has handled the cuts. Muktha R.Govind and 'Punnagai Poo' Gheetha under Muktha Films and SG Films Pvt Ltd banner has bank-rolled the project as a joint venture.
The movie is based on Srilankan issue.
Bankable sources confirmed us that the movie is based on Srilankan issue. The entire plot will revolve around the lives of Sri Lankan refugees who work as construction workers in Tamil Nadu. The team has worked a lot and they are expecting to reap the benefits.
The team also has Director A.Venkatesh, Selva, 'Poo' Ram as part of the supporting cast. It has to be noted that the team completed the project in 2012 itself.
