After lots of health issues and getting treatment in Singapore, Rajini made a comeback in the animated movie 'Kochadaiyaan'. Later to satisfy his fans, he acted in 'Lingaa'. Both the movies failed miserably in their own ways.
'Lingaa' faced several losses and lots of distributors demanded losses. Rajini just kept muted response and everyone started protests against the movie. Lots of them asked Rajini to reimburse for the losses incurred. Rajini even paid a sum of Rs.10 Crores to the distributors and they still demand 12 Crores.
