'Darling' was directed by debutante Sam Anton. The movie was a remake from Telugu movie 'Prem Katha Charitram'. Allu Aravind and K. E. Gnanavel Raja produced the movie as a joint venture. This became the debut movie for Music composer GV Prakash.
