National Award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar is back with the movie 'Calendar Girls'. The movie speaks about the life of models who poses for calendars and so on.
The director said he has taken inspiration from business tycoon Vijay Mallya for his project 'Calendar Girls' which will speak about the lifestyle of models. Now the movie has got attention as the latest buzz is one of the characters of the models is based on Actress Shilpa Shetty.
Akansha is always part of Mallya's camp
A source says, "Model Akanksha Puri will be essaying the character inspired by Shilpa shetty. Akansha is always part of Mallya's camp and she has been spotted at various social events arranged by him.
The source added that during audition lots of models were looked upon to match Shilpa's personality. Akanksha's character will be a South Indian girl who ventures into the glamour industry and later who gives up her career and marries the business tycoon."
