Anucharan has directed the movie 'Kirumi'. Anusaran is a former assistant to Director Mysskin. Karthir who did male lead role in 'Mathayaanai Kootam' is doing the male lead role and Reshmi Menon pairs opposite him.
Charlie, Vanitha, Thennavan, Yogi Babu, David, Solomon and 'Naan Mahan Alla' Mahendran are part of the supporting cast. 'K' who recently composed music for '49 O' hasscored music. Arul Vincent who was a former assistant to PC Sreeram has handled cinematography.
The movie has been invited to have its international premiere
K.Jayaraman, S.Prithviraj and S.Rajendran funds the movie as a joint venture. Now the movie has been invited to have its international premiere at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival.
Regarding the movie, Kathir said,"Kirumi is not a social based movie or something to deal with the virus and natural disasters. It is a realistic film that deals with the life of an ordinary youngster and how certain incidents change his course of life."
