Bollywood follows habit of remaking old movies to latest trend. However most of them have spoiled the original, very few have done justice to the Original. We can see the list of movies which were successful in emulating the original.
1. Bol Bachchan
Rohit Shetty directed this remake version. He remaked Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 'Gol Maal'. Ajay Devgn and Abishek Bachchan's character were so perfect and that played major role in the success of this movie.
2. Om Shanti Om
Om Shanti Om was inspired from Subhash Ghai's 'Karz' and that was adapted from Hollywood movie. However the climax was taken from Hindi movie 'Madhumati'. But still Farah Khan made this as a clear and clean entertainer and that was the reason the movie topped the charts in 2007.
3. Don
Farhan Akthar directed the new version and he tried to emulate the old don which released on 1978. The Original version was directed by Chandra Barot. However Shah Rukh's presence made this movie a huge success.
