Sevaraghavan was a successful director who tried various genres in Tamil Cinema. But his last venture 'Irandam Ulagam' failed miserably and that forced the director to refrain for a while. Now he is back as a script writer for this movie 'Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam'.
Selvaragavan's spouse Geetanjali Selvaraghavan has directed the movie 'Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam'. This is her debut venture as director. The movie is produced by Selvaraghavan’s regular editor Kola Bhaskar.
Balakrishna Kola in the lead role
Beep Tone Studios is Kola Baskar's own production house. The movie features Wamiqa Gabbi and Kola Bhaskar's son Balakrishna Kola in the lead roles. The teaser which released earlier got lots of positive reviews.
The technical team comprises of Sridhar, who handles cinematography and Achchu for music. Vasanth Rukesh has handled the cuts and UJ Murugan has worked as art director. A single track launch will take place at Loyola college during the event "Ovations'15".
