Now that Vijay’s Puli is released across the world with enough buzz, it’s time to give a first shot review for the movie, probably with little titbits and no spoilers.The film is set in the backdrop of a magical kingdom, a place of supernatural powers and sorcery.
The movie deals with the primary character - the queen, Sridevi, and the ultimate commander, Sudeep. Despite the amazing powers and inevitable magic of the land, the kingdom seems to be under trouble for so long, seeking for a savior to come along.
Vijay handles all the hurdles
Vijay, as a warrior, comes to the rescue of the people, acting and thinking for them. The hero is put to test in different ways and his skill as a warrior meets lot many difficulties. How Vijay handles all the hurdles and comes out successfully is the rest of the film.
The top stars Vijay, Sridevi, and Sudeep steal the show with their performance. ‘Puli’ is one of the rare genre films in Tamil filled with fantasy that includes magical tricks and witchcraft by the characters.
