Samantha was Tollywood's lead actress till 2013. But all of a sudden the actress shifted her base to Kollywood and Rakul Preet Singh filled the vacuum left by her. The actress who is known for glamour quotient was last seen in 'Auto Nagar Surya' and 'Alludu Seenu'.
Later the actress signed three projects in Kollywood and right now she has completed all the three projects and now she is planning to make her come back in Tollywood.

She is already working on Mahesh Babu's 'Brahmotsavam' and she also signed her next project 'A..Aa..' under Trivikram Srinivas direction. Nithin is doing male lead. She takes these two projects has her token for re-entry. Regarding making a comeback the actress says,
"I am happy to be back in Tollywood and I feel like coming back home. Both the projects I have signed are biggies and I hope I can cement my spot firmly in Tollywood once again. I am ready to do glamour as well as character-oriented roles. I am not bothered about the rumours around me."
