Washington reports that the house Foreign Affairs Committee of the US house of Representatives has voiced its apparent disapproval of the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) that proposes granting indian citizenship to non-Muslim minorities in countries such as pakistan and Bangladesh.
Early on tuesday, the contentious bill was pushed by the BJP-led government, cleared by the lower house of parliament.
