An Indian wrestler who has won in Canadian wrestling team trials will now be representing Canda through the qualification process for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. The Indian is Arjun Gill who is just 24 years old. 


He has won the 97 Kg free style category during three-day top-calibre Freestyle and Greco-Roman competition held in Strathcona county in Alberta. Alberta is a province of Canada. Due to this he got the chance within Olympics. 


The national sport governing body for Olympic style wrestling in Canada said that right now Arjun will completely focus on the qualification tournament. Tamara Medwidsky who is the executive director said, "As the weight class rankings are done , now Canada Lutte staff can focus on the next set of preparations for international qualification events in order to ensure a Canadian spot at 2016 Olympic games." 


As per reports the qualifying events will be starting from month of March 4th. It will take place till 6th of March at USA. The first two qualifier events will begin at April 22nd in Mongolia.
