An Indian professor has created a 'Super Condom' that can help to combat against AIDS and it also enhances sexual pressure. The Condom is made of an elastic polymer known as 'Hydrogel'. It is enmeshed with a plant-based antioxidant ingredient that has anti-HIV properties.

Regarding this invention, Mahua Choudhury who is an assistant professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center's Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy in the US said, "We are not making just a material to prevent HIV infection.

We need to eradicate this infection if possible. Super condom can fight against HIV infection and it also prevents from unwanted pregnancy. This will revolutionize HIV initiative." Choudhury studied molecular biology, biophysics and genetics in India.

She is also one among the 54 people who were awarded Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's "Grand Challenge in Global Health" grant. The winning recipients where asked to create latex free condom to battle HIV and now this is a life saving thing. This also prevents virus from replicating.
