The UK based Indian steel giant company owner Sanjeev Gupta has presently come to safeguard the troubled Tata Steel Port and is having discussions with the owners of the steel giant to get its plants at Port Talbot, which is Britain’s largest company and employing more than 4000 people. This 44 year old founder of steel has saved many UK based company from closure and is ready to have discussion with the British Government to make the rescue where thousands of job are at stake.


Gupta when questioned about acquiring the state steel plant port at Port Talbot, he said in the Sunday Telegraph that “We need a proper partnership with the government. I don’t know what would entail at this stage and he has started the process of having discussions with Tata”.


Gupta is a renowned guy in Wales for buying the former Alphasteel works in Newport by 2013, has recently bought Tata’s two rolling mills at Clydebridge and Dalzell in Scotland, which was facilitated by temporary nationalization by the Scottish government.


Gupta who lives in UK was born in Punjab where his father has owned a number of businesses including Victor cycles. Since 1992, he has grown Liberty House with the business turnover of 4.2 million dollars with employees more than 2000 around the world.
