Everyone wants to have that leadership. Everyone desires of being the party leader and getting the throne. But in the end only one gets the throne. After Warangal by poll elections the next elections are GHMC elections. They have grabbed all the attention.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls are scheduled for next month. And right now there is a huge rush to register the parties with the Telangana State Election Commission.
Even though the main competition is with National and State political parties, there has been new parties too in the race. Right now, it was said that there are 71 registered political parties and 15 of them have Telangana name with it. This is apart from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which is a recognized state party by the Election Commission of India.
As per rules, the party which has to win the local body polls must register with Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC). And the basic requirement is the party should have minimum of 25 members.
