MLA RK Roja hogs the lime light right now in Andhra Pradesh Politics. A single judge revoked her suspension for one year, but still she was not permitted inside the House and that created more chaos. YSRCP MLA's protested and there was huge drama outside the assembly for past few days.
Today morning A division bench of High court heard an appeal filed by the Andhra Pradesh legislative affairs department challenging a single judge order staying operation of the Assembly resolution suspending YSRC MLA Roja from assembly for a period of one year.
Acting Chief Justice Dilip B.Bhosale and Justice P.Naveen Rao, senior advocate of Supreme Court P.P.Rao said that the court cannot have Judicial review on any order passed by Legislature and they said the house has all the powers to suspend a member from the assembly.
The division bench dismissed the interim order passed by the single bench. Assembly however said that they are ready to forgive her and revoke suspension if she is ready to apologize for her 'inappropriate behaviour'. It has to be noted that Roja made some cheap remarks against Chandrababu Naidu on December 18, 2015.
