In Andhra Pradesh, the law seems to be of different types for different situations. For example, in Vanpic scam minister Mopidevi was caught and put in jail while Dharmana Prasad Rao is still free. Lot of allegations is kept on Y S Jagan but the other politicians of other parties are left free. And here is one more.
Recently, the government came up with a new ruling banning the usage of Pan Masala, Gutkha, Pan Parag in public places especially railway stations, multiplexes, shopping malls, theaters etc. This is a good thing but it has also spelt some trouble for the government. The Gutkha syndicate is now questioning why government doesn’t ban liquor.
It is known that the maximum revenue for Andhra Pradesh comes from liquor and after the arrival of congress into power the sale have gone up and so have the prices. With this, the government is caught up between the liquor syndicate and Gutkha syndicate. How they are going to deal with the situation and come out safely remains to be seen.
