People of Andhra Pradesh have been fighting for special status after the senseless and mindless bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to form Telangana for selfish ends. BJP,Congress and other political parties promised special status after the division and the same was included in the AP state reorganisation bill.
However BJP led NDA government fooled people of the state whom AP elected with which hopes. What shocked them the most is AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu shelved special status demand after Union Government gave special package and cleared hurdles for Polavaram project.
Jagan's YSRCP has been organising various protests for special status and so are the other NGOs. Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena intensified the fight for special status after Tamil Nadu people tasted success with protests at Marina beach for Jallikattu.
Now AP Youth are organising similar kind of protests at RK.Beach,Visakhapatnam but to the shock of everyone,AP government denied permission citing security reasons for Republic Day. Many film celebrities supported the silent protest but superstars like Chiranjeevi,Balakrishna, Mahesh Babu didnot utter a single word.
Under these circumstances many are wondering whether the silent Spl. Status fight create sensation? Jagan announced candle light rally at RK Beach in support of special status demand and Pawan Kalyan too is expected to participate in the silent protests.
