Telangana
1.  Court stays Group II recruitment process :  Justice M. S. Ramachandra Rao of the Hyderabad High court on Monday restrained the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) from going ahead with the further selection process pertaining to recruitment for Group II posts for three weeks.
2.  Telangana’s GDP grows 10.1% :  The Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of Telangana grew 10.1%, at constant prices, in 2016-17 to Rs. 5.11 lakh crore, thus clocking a rate of growth higher than the national average for the third consecutive fiscal.
3.  HC asks govt., CRDA to file affidavits :  Justice Raja Elango of the Hyderabad High Court on Monday asked the CRDA, Vijayawada and the AP government to answer the allegations that there is discrimination in the allotment of plots under land pooling scheme.
4.  Woman sold to kafil: CID probe sought :  The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has been asked to investigate the case of Haleem Unnisa, a resident of Vattepally, who was allegedly sold to a kafil in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
5.  3 lift irrigation projects stare at green hurdle :  About 4,500 hectares out of total land of one lakh hectares required for construction of three major lift irrigation projects have been caught in wildlife wrangle. projects which were redesigned by none other than chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao are now facing the daunting task of getting permissions from the Union ministry of environment and forests. 
6.  KCR must order probe into Bandlaguda land scam: Mohammad Ali Shabbir :  Leader of opposition in the Telangana Legislative Council, Mohammad Ali Shabbir, on Monday demanded the state government to order a probe into instances of land grabbing in Bandlaguda. 
7.  Solve water crisis, clean up drains: Owaisi :  Senior officials of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Monday jointly conducted inspections with Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi, to take stock of the problems of water supply in parts of Old City.
8.  Security beefed up in Old City before Eid and Bonalu :  Ahead of two important festivals, Eid-ul-Fitr and Bonalu, elaborate security arrangements have been made in Old City. More than 2,500 cops have been deployed for the month long festivities.
9.  Telangana revises priority norms for NCC reservation :  
The Telangana government has revised the priority norms for the National Cadet Corps (NCC) for the purpose of admission into engineering colleges in the state.
10.  HC stays selections for Group II posts in Telangana :   Faced with scores of complaints about irregularities, Justice M S Ramachandra Rao of the Hyderabad High Court on Monday stayed the selection process for 1,032 Group 2 posts by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).


Andhra Pradesh
1.  No dispute with TS on power: Kala :  Minister for Electricity Kimidi Kala Venakta Rao on Monday said that there was no dispute between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State with regard to power issues.
2.  Tobacco traders urge Centre to roll back GST :  Expressing serious concern over the likely fallout of Goods and Services Tax (GST) on unmanufactured tobacco, traders under the aegis of Indian Tobacco Association has urged the Centre to roll back the GST.
3.  MLA takes part in Iftar :  The Sajjad-e-Nasheen of Asthan-e-Muradiya Syed Shah Mohammed Jamalullah Basha Chistiul Khadri Saheb and YSR Congress MLA of Rayachoti G. Srikanth Reddy participated in an Iftar hosted in Asthan-e-Jamalia Dargah at Patha Rayachoti in Rayachoti town of Kadapa district and offered prayers.
4.  Silpa Mohan Reddy quits Telugu Desam :  Former Minister Silpa Mohan Reddy, who is the Telugu Desam Party’s Nandyal constituency in charge, announced his resignation from the party on Monday evening.
5.  A.P. front-runner for Coastal Economic Zone :  Andhra Pradesh has emerged as one of the front runners for the prestigious Rs. 3,000-crore Coastal Economic Zone (CEZ), to be implemented by the Centre in partnership with the state government to attract globally competitive industries and create large-scale employment opportunities.
6.  Japanese delegation meets Naidu :  A business delegation from Japan comprising representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Japan International Cooperation Organisation (JICA) met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat on Monday.
7.  A.P. Minister visits Naya Raipur :  Minister for Municipal Administration P. Narayana and AP-Capital Region Development Authority (AP-CRDA) Commissioner Cherukuri Sreedhar visited Chhattisgarh capital Naya Raipur on Monday. 
8.  Appoint OSD to monitor tribal issues, Govt. urged :  Delving on issues concerning tribal welfare and rights in Andhra Pradesh, they also felt the need for a periodical review by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on the functioning of the Tribal Welfare Department and also appointment of an IAS officer as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to monitor the implementation of schemes.
9.  Unions decry MP’s remarks on RINL losses :  CITU, AITUC and INTUC leaders on Monday came down heavily on MP and BJP State president K. Haribabu for finding fault with the management of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited for the recurring losses incurred by Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
10.  Left parties stage protest against death of farmers in MP :  The CPI and the CPI (M) on Monday staged a protest demonstration at the Collector’s Office demanding that the Chief Minister of MP tender an open apology to the nation for the death of six farmers in the police action during clashes at Mandsaur on June 6 and compensation to the bereaved families.
