Guinness Book of Records are meant for rare feats and generally people try to achieve something extraordinary to enter into the record books. Howevevr in a shocker a Congress MLA demanded Guninness Record for his rival party Shiv Sena.
It is known that BJP-Shiv Sena share a rocky alliance. Many times Shiv Sena threaten to quit the alliance and even the last Municipal Elections in Maharashtra it fought on its own. However after the elections it once again entered into a coalition.
Now Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackery once again threatened to walk out of the alliance. Furious on Shiv Sena's change of stands and oft repeated statement, Nitesh Rane, Congress MLA wrote a letter to the director of Guinnes Book of World Records.
He said “We would like to register a record on Mr Uddhav’s behalf for announcing a number of times that his party, Shiv Sena, will withdraw support to the Maharashtra government. It will be a first-of-its-kind record.” . Incidentally he was the son of Narayan Rana who was once the Shiv Sena member.
