Finally the expected has happened. With the Samaikyandhra agitation taking a new turn and becoming very hot, many politicians are slowly coming out of their closet and speaking boldly about it. The first barrier was broken with CM Kiran Kumar Reddy giving an open press meet on this issue.
But now, the situation has taken an interesting turn with YSRCP founder Jagan and his mother Vijayamma offering their resignations for the cause of Samaikyandhra. Though they have quoted the reason as protest against Congress’s divide and rule policy, it is heard that there is a main plan of Jagan behind the resignation.
Sources say Jagan is almost convinced that his party has not much chance in Telangana region with Konda Surekha also quitting the party. So, his total aim is now on Seemandhra region and with the Seemandhra people seething with anger on both Congress and TDP Jagan feels he has a good chance to get a landslide victory in 2014 elections. Let us see if this strategy works or not.
