A female goat was raped by 8 people in Haryana, ultimately leading to the death of the goat. This gruesome incident has sent shockwaves across the nation. The rising rapes and harassments, sexual abuse against women and their safety issues have become a huge matter of concern with women constantly keeping women in fear.
Now this incident of the sexual violence turning towards animals as well has created a controversy and a new low in cases of sexual assault. On 25 July night, 8 men belonging to Haryana's Mewad district had raped a female goat under the influence of alcohol in an inebriated state brutally. This act of sexual harassment has resulted in the death of the goat. The goat's owner Aslu had filed a complaint against the 8 men.
In Nagina police station following
which the accused including Savakar and Haroon Jaffer were identified with
cases filed against them under prevention of violence against animals act. The
accused have been missing since the incident, and the police have launched a
hunt to get them arrested.
