Potluri Vara Prasad (PVP) is well known business man and producer in Telugu. PVP has tried for TDP Parliament ticket for Vijayawada in 2014 General Elections. He even took Pavan Kalyan reference on Vijayawada MP Ticket. But CBN deny MP ticket for PVP and convince Pavan Kalyan that PVP has ED cases against him. Dejected PVP away from politics and busy in producing the films.
PVP name is hearing again after long back in Vijayawada politics. As per political buzz, PVP is seeking to contest from Vijayawada Parliament from YSRCP ticket. Reportedly, he send indications to YS Jagan and will join in YSRCP within two days. Dasari Jai Ramesh who joined recently in YSRCP and expected to contest from Vijayawada Loksabha. Now PVP sudden entry into YSRCP minimized Dasari chances to contest.
One month back, YSRCP is struggling for selecting the candidates for Vijayawada Parliament ticket. Now he has two bigshots in his party and is in dilemma in to whom he gives ticket. Both have comes Krishna background. Dasari was lost the election to P.Upendra in 1998 from Vijayawada. Reportedly, YSRCP Assembly nominees feel a great sigh of relief either Dasari or PVP will be their Parliament candidate. In 2014, Pavan tried for TDP ticket for PVP but the same PVP is not looking towards Jena Sena in 2019.
