Well the stage seems to be set for Congress to lose the power in 2014 general elections. The party is already facing a lot of issues including inflation, crime rate, corruption, rupee fall, anti-incumbency among others.

The pre-poll surveys held by several media agencies for upcoming Assembly elections in four states have predicted a jolt to ruling Congress and thumbs up for BJP. According to a recent Poll, BJP will retain power in both MP and Chhattisgarh and is expected to wrest Rajasthan from Congress whereas a close fight is predicted between BJP & Cong in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal's 'Aam Aadmi Party' is expected to win 7 seats out of 70 in New Delhi.

Pre-poll survey:

Rajasthan (200 seats): BJP - 118; Congress - 64; BSP - 3; Others - 15.

Chattisgarh (90 seats): BJP - 47 seats and rest for others

Madhya Pradesh (230 seats): BJP - 130; Congress - 84; BSP - 5; Others - 11.

Delhi (70 seats): BJP - 30; Congress - 29; BSP - 2; AAP - 7; Others - 2.
