In a bizarre event, two deers unexpectedly entered into residential places in Chennai namely Kotturpuram and Taramani last week. Immediately a rescue team was arranged by the wildlife range office and the team acted swiftly and captured one of the deers and rescued it from getting hurt, while another deer was uncontrollable and reached inside CLRI area.

One of the persons residing in the area gave an information to the forest officials that a deer had entered into Kotturpuram to a ground. As the deer was frightened seeing humans around it was petrified further and was hiding behind trees.

 


As said by forest officers a deer hiding behind a bush, it is difficult to make it move off and it consumed an hour to drive away the deer.  In a similar case one deer came into an apartment because of traffic and was later rescued by forest officers.
