This a moment of pride for some and a moment of betrayal for some in Andhra Pradesh owing to the current political situations. The first state which was formed on a linguistic basis in India is now facing an existential threat with the decision by Congress party to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.
Though Kiran said today that he will pray Telugu Thalli to keep AP United for years to come and recalled how Indira Gandhi had tried hard to keep AP united. However most of the people in AP have now reconciled to the fact that this may be the last AP formation day.
Many in the state currently feel that this agitation phase should be over quickly and whether as one state or two states, Telugu speaking people should be one and share a common destiny. However it is a moment of sadness for many especially in Seemandhra!
